In Raw Craft, American chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain talks the art of craftsmanship with artisans of every kind. Here, he talks pastry with Dominique Ansel. Ansel is the James Beard award-winning pastry chef at his eponymous New York City bakery.
Dominique was named World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2017 by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, and is the amazing creator of the Cronut—the croissant-doughnut mashup that took the city by storm in 2013. TIME magazine even named the Cronut as one of the “25 Best Inventions of 2013.”
