Dak’Art Biennial: African Contemporary Art

This biennial festival takes place in Dakar, the capital of Senegal. Beginning in 1992, Dak’Art Biennial is devoted exclusively to contemporary African art, including African sculpture as well as postmodernist forms, although it also includes exhibitions of more traditional tribal art.
